Challenge 12 - Vintage at Dragonfly Dreams

This month is one of my favourites as I love vintage so I hope you like what I have made for this months challenge:
I just love this image of the little girl and just had to use it, the DP is from Bearly Mine who are sadly closing down to the new EU tax laws, I shall miss her terribly as I love her papers. DS4J Christmas progressive challenge

Good morning friends,
It is very mild here this morning so it doesn't help when I'm trying to think of Christmas *laughing* I decided to try something new for this card, I saw the tutorial on YouTube and thought I would try it one day :) so here is my card.

The paper I cover it with is from the Gilded Winter collection by First Edition, it is such beautiful paper, it is card really but I used it as paper so the card it nice and strong. The plaid is some I had in my stock. I will make more of these cards but I would do it so it is on the side.

Anyway here is my card for this next challenge for Dragonfly Dreams:

I coloured my image using Promarkers I also used rainbow paper for the background and as this challenge is to use a die I used a die for the sentiment which I stamped. I used little gems for the corners.
