Today is a day which all English people should be proud off.

Challenge 16 - Let's See Spring!

Good Morning Friends,
I love this challenge (Dragonfly Dreams) as it is about my favourite season SPRING after the dormant season of winter we see the new growth all around us awakening to the new season. The green starts to show as the leaves on trees and plants start to grow and then the beautiful spring flowers start to appear to brighten our world with their beauty.

We start with the little snowdrops then these are followed by the beautiful little crocus and the comes the wonderful Daffodils with their little yellow heads being swung by the wind which makes them look as if they are performing a dance for us. As I look out of my craftroom window I see a host of golden Daffodils which reminds me of:

I WANDERED lonely as a cloud

          That floats on high o'er vales and hills,

          When all at once I saw a crowd,

          A host, of golden daffodils;

          Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

          Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

The Generation Album

The Generation Album

This has been in the making for a while now.

I have been making it for a while but I hope you will enjoy seeing what I have made. 

I have made this album for my daughter Maria Louise I was thinking of her doing as a Generation album but I think she has other things in mind for it :)

It is made to use as a "Family Tree" type of album, I bought the pattern for it from Laura Denison Designs I love her designs and I do have quite a few now, it is too expensive for me to have the kits as the postage is so high from USA to England or I think I would even have her kits :)

The centre is for the person whose family tree it is.

One side of the album is for the Father (left) and his side of the family

The right side is for the Mother and her side of the family.

This video is Laura's as she explains what it is used for.

A Birthday card for a friends....

Thought I would share this with you, it is a card which I made for a friend, we have been friends for a good many years and she is special.

I rather like the colour of this card it isn't all bright but subtle which shows the depth very nicely...

Our latest Challenge over at Dragonfly Dreams

This months challenge over at Dragonfly Dreams is about adding embellishments so I have added the banner which came with the image from Melonheadz Illustrations  the little girl was separate but I put her into the picture under the tree which I like. Can you find the Easter egg in the tree?

Although the image was pre-coloured I did use my Promarkers to go over the colouring again.
