A baby girl album

Good day everyone,
It is a bit longer than I thought it would be for this post but I have been so busy over the past week with visitors and making this album and another one for a baby boy which I shall put up another day.

This album is for a friend in Spain she has a new Granddaughter "Willow" so this album is for her, my daughter has bought it for Willow's mummy.

I used my PSP to make up the plaque with her name and details on which I did with the photo of Willow. I used some lace which I had in stock and the lace butterfly which was bought on Ebay a while back now. The flowers are from "Wild Orchid Crafts" I love their flowers they are always so pretty, so life like. The dove I have had a while now but thought it looked nice on here. The paper pad I used for the whole album is "First Edition - It's a Girl!" which I love as it is such nice paper plus the patterns are so pretty.

I'm back!

Good evening dear friends,
It has been a while since I wrote on here as I was grieving and feeling so sad I didn't want to do anything and have been struggling to do any crafts. I resigned from the DT over at Dragonfly Dreams and have been changing what I am doing these days.

I did start making Pocket Letters which were fun for a while but I then wanted to do something else but unsure of what I wanted to do. Then I found flip books and pen pals and have really enjoyed making friends from all over the world. My latest pen pal I met through Jane Austen Letter Writing Society and am really looking forward to getting to know my new pan pal, Patsy.

I have had a request to make two baby mini albums from Bridget in Spain so what could I do but say yes, I have done the bones of the girl album but haven't started the boys album yet. I think I only have about 10 days to get them done so I had better pull my socks up and get moving :)

I will try to come on here a bit more often and let you know what I'm doing and maybe share a picture or two of things I have made.

The image is from Ppinky Dolls Art I coloured her using my Copic's and Promarker's I have used Washi tape down the edge of the card which has gold hearts on it. The flower I die cut using red mirror board.

I love making these journals but this one was for a special friend who lives in America.
