My 2nd Christmas card for July

I have made these using the candle die that my sister sent to me from Canada, she had a couple of friends that went to her and they had a crafting day and these candle dies came from that day :) She even embossed some card for me which I could also use.

So that is another 4 cards I have made which has bumped my Christmas card stock up -YEAH!

Here is my card for this challenge I just loved this image from Crafty Secrets mind you I love dragonflies so that may have something to do with it but I also loved the delicateness of the image. I also loved the connection with summer, I hope you like what I have done, I wanted to keep it simple I think I have done that what do you think?

My first July Christmas Card

I am a little later than usual for this first Christmas card for July. I image is one from DS4J which is the Progressive Christmas Challenge. I coloured it using my Promarkers, I did find this image hard to colour for some unknown reason!

I had the music sheet which I had printed out but can't remember where I got it from so if anyone recognises it please let me know so I can acknowledge them :) I decided that tearing the card would look better and I feel I was right. I distress it using Tim Holtz Distress Paint "Vintage Photo"

Challenge 7 starts today

Good morning dear friends, today see a new challenge over at Laural craft Dragonfly Dreams and this months challenge is themed  "Something that relates to your birthday Month" 

I changed the colour of the silhouette to a sapphire blue which is the colour of my birth stone. I used a pearl brad on the turned back corner I made the little flower and placed a pearl in the centre of it. I image came from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps I hope you will check them out as they have some great Digi images for you to use.
