Shaped Card

Good afternoon, I thought I would show you a card which I have made yet again from the CD by Joanna Sheen and the artwork of Josephine Wall whose work I so admire. This has been decoupaged but I just love the shape of the face.

This picture is called "By Gone Summers" and I think it is beautiful, I have always loved this picture. I do hope you will go and look at Josephine's work :)

Hazel's 70th Birthday

Yesterday we went to a birthday party for my sister in law Hazel who is 70 years old today. I thought I would show you the card I made for her. She was born in 1944 so I tried to do the card for that year, I think I succeeded, what do you think?

I am with a group a group called Vintage and Beyond which is situated within the network of Creating the Crafty Life Lilian who runs V&B runs a Friendship page swap, I thought I would show you the page I made this month "June" each month Lilian will show us a different type of page to made for our Friendship Album and each month we write a little something about what is happening in or around ourselves and put it into the album and at the end of the year you have an album full of memories +

Another Christmas card for June

I am trying to get two Christmas cards made each month. I bought this die and then I found it was hard to stick it down as everything was so small! I don't like glue showing but it does on this card but as I always say "A blind man would be pleased to see it!"

What do you think? I love the simplicity of it but I know the glue is there gggrrrr...

Junes DS4J Christmas card

I can't believe we are into June already, I love the free Digi we have for Junes Christmas challenge over at Digital Stamps 4 Joy I hope you like the card I have created using this image. I coloured it using my Promarkers.

I loved the paper so much and didn't want to cover it up so I decided to put a flap on the card using the image from DS4J and inside I used a sentiment from Create with TLC

New card using the Serenity Prayer

I am going to try to enter this challenge with this wonderful Serenity Prayer freeby I got from Crafty Secrets I am so please my Friend Sharon Swain told me about this challenge and I have bought some images to use also from there but not sorted out what I wanted to do with them yet, they are so lovely. Anyway back to this card I just love this prayer and when I saw it was a freeby I had to have it and make a card with it.

Doesn't it make a nice card? I am so happy with it...
