I am trying to get two Christmas cards made each month. I bought this die and then I found it was hard to stick it down as everything was so small! I don't like glue showing but it does on this card but as I always say "A blind man would be pleased to see it!"
What do you think? I love the simplicity of it but I know the glue is there gggrrrr...
Love ~ Lady Anne xxx
I will be entering this into the following challenges\;
Lady Anne, it looks beautiful from here (smile). I wondered if you had an embossing buddy? A small pillow of powder you use to brush on cardstock before you emboss something? I find if I puff it onto areas I have allowed the glue to show, it takes away the stickiness for a start, and it sometimes helps blend the glue into the paper as it takes away the glue's shininess. Try it on a scrap paper first to see if it does that for you, or if it makes the glue even more obvious (which can occasionally happen). xx
Such a beautiful die cut! I can see why you like it, but I can also see how it would be super hard to glue down!! Wish I had a good solution to offer. Anyway, it is just perfect for a CAS card. Thanks for playing with CHNCC2.
Gorgeous work Lady Anne. That die is something else. I noticed that you said this was card number two. It is unfortunate you didn't think to link up your DS4J Christmas card as well from June, as it would have earned you your paper. Don't forget that if your goal is two cards a month, be sure to link up both to the 12 Months of Christmas link up to earn your monthly goodies. I look forward to seeing what next month brings.
Thank you for your comments, I really appreciate it. I just love reading what everyone has had to say. I hope you will come back soon... Love ~ Anne xx
